SawafTech Participates in the Arab-Turkish Business Summit to Strengthen Economic Cooperation

Sawaf Tech participated in the second edition of the “Arab-Turkish Business Summit,” held in Gaziantep, southern Turkey, with the attendance of approximately 1,600 Arab and Turkish businesspeople. The summit garnered significant attention from Arab media, focusing on strengthening economic cooperation between Turkey and Arab countries.

During the summit, Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati stated that the Turkish economy continues to grow, export, and create job opportunities despite global and regional challenges. In the opening session, Turkish Minister of Trade Mehmet Muş highlighted that trade volume with Arab countries reached $67.4 billion in 2021, reflecting a 14.2% increase compared to the previous year. He also affirmed Turkey’s determination to enhance its relations with Arab nations.

Muş further emphasized the role of Turkish contractors in implementing 3,500 projects in Arab countries, valued at $167.6 billion, showcasing their significant contribution to regional development. The summit’s opening session was attended by notable figures, including Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, and Iraqi Minister of Trade Alaa Al-Jubouri.
