Sawaf Tech Participates in the Arab-Turkish Business Summit to Strengthen Economic Cooperation

Sawaf Tech participated in the second edition of the “Arab-Turkish Business Summit,” held in Gaziantep, southern Turkey, with the attendance of approximately 1,600 Arab and Turkish businesspeople. The conference attracted significant attention from Arab media, which focused on enhancing economic cooperation between Turkey and Arab countries.

During the summit, Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati stated that the Turkish economy continues to grow, export, and create job opportunities despite global and regional challenges. In the opening session, Turkish Trade Minister Mehmet Muş highlighted that trade volume with Arab countries reached $67.4 billion in 2021, marking a 14.2% increase compared to the previous year. He also reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to strengthening its relations with Arab nations.

Muş emphasized the role of Turkish companies in executing 3,500 projects in Arab countries, with a total value of $167.6 billion, reflecting their contribution to regional development. The summit’s opening was attended by prominent figures, including Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, and Iraqi Trade Minister Alaa Al-Jubouri.
